Hermann ZApf Poster

This project consisted on creating a poster and a tagline for a lecture series featuring great typographers such as Adrian Frutiger, Sumner Stone, Zuzana Licko, Hermann Zapf.

Zapfino is one of the most amazing script typefaces I’ve ever seen. It’s elegant, light, and makes your eyes want to flow to the next letter. That’s how I came up with the simplest tagline: “elegant design,” because that’s what Zapf did.

I remember being really stressed out over the layout of this poster. I was worried about having to much white space left, or having too much going on typing with Zapfino. However, my instructor give me a lot of confidence with my design. I completed this project on May 2019, and I think it’s one of the best designs I’ve ever made so far.
